Windows Blue Screen Error
My wife's laptop had a virus issue. We purchased McAfee Total Protection 2011 software and installed it. At first it completed and said all but one item had been removed. She ran it again and all items were removed. BUT then - she couldn't get Windows to open. It goes to a blue screen that reads:
STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0x82044CC7, 0xAB&D891C, 0x00000000)
HOw do I correct this problem so her Windows will go back to normal?
I've already uninstalled the McAfee software thinking that would help, but that did no good. Tried McAfee Tech Support, but they said if I thought it was the software - then uninstall and call for a refund (Big Help there).
