Group Policy Client not starting
Complaint is a new limited user can not log on. For some reason Group Policy Client is not running. gpsvc.dll & gpapi.dll files are correct. RPC, DCOM, Mup are running. Registry entries for gpsvc and profiles are correct. SFC runs with just a complaint about Sidebar's settings.ini. Can find any malware. Disk Check ran without problems.

System is 18 months old. Apparently he never tried to create a new user before so don't know if this is a new problem or one from install on.

This is a standalone (no domain) Vista Home Premium with SP2 and uptodate patches.

Anybody have any ideas?
