Help with partitioning situation Please
I have an HP w/Vista HomePremium that came with a 500GB hard drive capacity which is actually two physical hard drives each 250GB.
Getting a little crowded so I pulled a 500GB drive from a retired computer and added it to my system.
Using EASEUS Partion Master I viewed the three disks and clicked on and proceeded to wipe the add 500GB drive. The pop up read "Locking disk 3" Then completed the process. When it was finished it now lists one of the smaller original drives (Disk 1)as unallocated (Disk 2)containing C: and D Recovery is still in tact. And the intended drive (Disk 3) list as - Size 462.40GB - Used 321.95GB - Unused 140.44GB - Status Active - Type Primary .
Did it wipe the wrong disk? I dont seem to notice anything missing or different outside of the partioning program . looks like all my programs are still here. But now I'm worried that if I perform any opperation like partitioning the disk that reads unallocated it may affect something I don't intend to.I'm stuck.
Thankful for any advise.
