Inadvertently I Lost/Removed the desk top Icon from my Quick Launch.
How can I retreive that function (and Icon) there.... rather than that I have already found for Notification Area of Task Bar?

Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
Dell INTEL PENTIUM DUAL CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz 1.80GHz
2.00 GB (RAM)
Running on 32-Bit system
Broadband cable 10MB


Any help/info shall be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
Otherwise, I feel I may need to 'self-crash' the entire computer, then start again from "square one".

I think I understand your problem, go to Control Panel-->Taskbar and Start Menu-->Toolbars and make sure the Quick Launch is checked.
