Vista cannot change boot log on re installation of vista home premium
Dell 1720 laptop
windows vista home premium

I have formated my hard drive and tried to reinstall vista,but every time
I do after the first restart I get a message saying windows cannot change boot sequence. And another time I tried the re install it goes through the first resart and then to the black screen of death. PLEASE help geek squad wants $200 to fix it.
