Startup Repair, System Restore CRC problem.
So, my Toshiba Satellite laptop won't start up. Instead it sends me to the Startup Repair, where it says it cant find a problem then it gives me a list of options including System Restore. When I try to system restore it fails due to a cyclic redundancy check.

I hear tell that a system restore can fail due to antivirus software, but I have no way of turning it off because my system won't start, not even in safe mode.

What can I do here?
