Windows Media Centre and Burning

Hi,

I did not think that Vista could burn CD's, but it appeaers that it can through the Windows Media Centre.

Is there any information regarding the use of this burning facility?

Does anyone know which programme Vista uses for the burning?

I was also wondering if Vista can burn, then why do so many people install third-party burners?
