Audio service turned off?
I turned on my computer the other day and was greeted with a variety of problems, one being that the "windows audio" service has been turned off. When I go into services and attempt to "turn on" the windows audio service, it flags up a 1068 error about some dependencies not running, I go to the dependencies tab to find what to run and the "dependencies service" has also been turned off. I can't find it, I've tried turning on all the services in the vain hope that the audio will somehow come back to the computer!
Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this? Would really rather not reinstall the OS as my laptop did not come with the disc (preinstall).
