Video's not playing
Im having serious problems here, my blood is boiling and the things running through my head are extremely illegal. i just had over $1000 stolen from me basically. i wanted a computer that can play movies and games and i got neither.
i have an Asus computer with Windows Home Premium on it and a g100 nvidia video card. now i was told the computer is fine, it would play world of warcraft with no problem, etc. well it doesnt. the game starts the screen goes black and flickers and then i get a blue screen with a bunch of nonsense on it. exact same thing with any dvd i put in or whenever i try to play any .wmv file.
im not sure whether to hate Asus, vista, nvidia or best buy who lied to my face and stole my money...and yes, i said LIED. i got home and realized the problem and did a google search and found there is some problem between vista and nvidia and it has been around for a while so there is absolutely no way these geek squad guys didnt know this when they sold it to me.
now they tell me they can have it sent out to be looked at and it could take a few weeks. so i pay for a computer today but i dont get it for weeks? BS. its paid for and should be taken care of immediately, right there. kinda like how they took my money. they certainly wouldnt give me a computer for two weeks and let me say ill pay you later.
is there anyway to fix this issue? if not im wiping this retarded, garbage, good for nothing vista off my computer and putting on the windows xp disc i have. hopefully that will work...
