Adobe Flash no loonger working in IE8

Hi Everyone.

Some help would be appreciated.

I am running 32 bit home premium on a dell XPS 410.

Suddenly Flash is no longer working in IE8. I have tried manual uninstall/reinstall and that had no effect. I have also tried the registry fix with 'subinacl.msi' downloaded from microsoft. Active X and scripting are enabled in the browser.

I have not installed/uninstalled any programmes other than Flash as above.
Any ideas please?

adobe flash player can only be uninstalled completely with the flash uninstaller. You can download it from adobe How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
