Error 1723 - Java Corrupt Download
I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN UPDATING JAVA. I AM UNABLE TO LOAD OR UNINSTALL JAVA.
I currently have Java 6 Update 13

ERROR 1723. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS WINDOWS
INSTALLER PACKAGE. A DLL REQUIRED FOR THIS INSTALL TO
COMPLETE COULD NOT BE RUN. CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT
PERSONNEL OR PACKAGE VENDOR.

When I go to control panel, and try to delete java file it's as if the file doesn't exist. I highlight, but don't get an option to uninstall.
I'VE GONE TO REG EDIT AND DELETED ALL JAVA FILES.
Any help would be appreciated.
