Vista 64 bit Back data missing
I recently backed up my PC with a full backup onto an internal drive specifically dedicated to backups.

My vista had an issue with the nvidia geforce video drivers causing a recommand issue. So i decided to re-install from vista from scratch since I couldn't fix the problem.

I have 3 drives in my machine and disconnected the 2 drives (one which was the back up drive).

I re-installed vista on the core drive, the machine came back up without issues. I re-attached the remaining 2 drives and proceeded to to a backup restore. Windows could not find the back up file and that backup drive stated it was empty.

I did the backup using vista sp2 but tried the backup restore using sp1. Is it possible that Windows (since it's not very backward compatible) could not read the backup drive created using sp2? Or are there any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
