Can't find Vista's Power Alarms
My laptop (HP Pavilion dv6871us) uses Vista's power management utilities.
When my laptop nears its 'critical' low power state it hibernates and shuts down. NO alarms or warnings.
Is it true that Vista's power management contains no way to "warn" the user that he's either (a) close to a low battery level, and/or (b) about to have his laptop shut down ?
If answer is 'yes', is there a utility available which WILL notify the user?
{ FWIW: My former laptop, a Toshiba which employed its OWN power management software (not XP's), did warn the user audibly and with pop-up screen }
