Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706) error code 0x1117B?

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to say I'm new here. I'm not too sure if this is the right forum to post my question but here goes anyways: For the past month I've been trying to install a Windows Update (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706) and I keep on getting the same error code over and over again: Failed:1 update error(s) found: Code 1117B Windows Update encountered an unknown error? What is causing this? I've tried several times to install this update with no luck? What do I have to do to be able to install this update? Help!! I have an emachine computer running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. An Intel processor 4 CPU 3.20GHz 2.00 RAM memory. System type: 32 bit operating system. If there's any other information I can provide please let me know?

I hav'nt received any info about resolving my problem!?! As a matter of fact you're the first person to have answered my post in two weeks!!! It's very frustrating!! If you hear anything can you PLEASE let me know?? I'll do the same for you!!

I also have the same problem. It is driving me crazy. You would think that there is a bunch of us having this problem and Microsoft would send info on how to correct it since it is one of their updates in the first place. It's getting to the point where I am just turning off the update checks because it's a everyday pain!!! Let me know if you get a response from anyone with an answer?
