Problem of display under Vista.
Hello,
I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 6400 (since May, 2007) Intel Core Duo 2 T5600 1,83 GHz, Windows Vista Home Premium Edition SP1 (updated regularly), NVidia GeForce go 7300... Everything works rather well. For some time I have no more the shadows under the menus, under the mouse pointer, under the tooltips; more effect of transition of the menus and the tooltips....(the old MSWindows visuals effects) On the other hand the functions "Aero": Flip3d, animation of windows, transparency, are always present. In the "Performance Options" window everything is marked, but when I choose "Custom": the disappeared "effects" are not marked. The DWM service works. The keys of registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM; HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects and subkeys; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects and subkeys; are good.
I have desinstalled some applications as I suspected. I scanned with Avira Antivir, SmitFraudFix, HitJackThis, Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, Windows Live One Care, no malware was found. In brief I do not know any more what to do.
