IE7 is a pain.
My wife recently bought an HP notbook with windows Windows Home premium 64bit. her IE7 either just suddenly shuts down or starts adding tab after tab, without stopping. She has to either go to task manager to to shut down windows IE7 or power down her note book.
HP was no help and when we called Microsoft they wanted to charge 60 dollars just to tell us how to fix the problem. Sheesh what a rip off.
It has two shortcuts to start IE7 one is plain IE7 and the other says IE7 64bit. When we try the IE7 64bit it seems to automatically default to the 32 bit or regular IE7. It is so frustrating because my wife works on line and depends on IE7. we even tried IE8 beta and that is a piece of garbage. Any suggestions?
