Haven't got a response as yet for why my computer cannot install the following update "Windows Search 4.0 for Windows Vista (KB940157). All other updates have downloaded and installed over thwe past year.

try download from Download details: Windows Search 4.0 for Windows Vista (KB940157)

and install manually,
