You need to reinstall the program with administrative rights. To do this, insert the disc whilst holding the 'Shift' key. When the drive light has gone out, click on the start orb, click 'Computer' and right click on the appropriate optical drive (usually D) Select 'Explore' and browse the disc. You are looking for a file called 'Install.exe' or 'Setup.exe'. When you have found it, right click on it and select 'Run as administrator'. After providing administrative credentials, the program will run. This time, the program will run as though it was in an administrative account and should be able to access the necessary areas of the registry. Note that if you are already running as an administrator you will still need to follow the instructions above in order to run the setup program with the correct credentials. Unless explicitly elevated, the administrator account behaves like a standard account.
