Invalid product Key message Vista Home Premium

I purchased a toshiba laptop bundled with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit a month or so ago. I am now being prompted to enter a 25 character product key in order to use word/excel etc. I have entered the 25 character key off of the back of my computer. The sticker that the key appears on has the heading Windows Vista Home Premium OemAct. However this code is coming up invalid. I have search all documentation and recovery disk that came with the computer but have come up with nothing. Efforts to obtain help from toshiba have been fruitless. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Hi jclinder,

The key that you have entered is for Vista and NOT for Word/Excel. These are part of the Office package that came with your laptop and is a TRIAL version. You will need to purchase a valid key in order to continue using these programs. Alternatively, purchase a retail copy of Office 2007 (I recommend the 'Home and Student' edition).
