Probelm With Picture File Directories
I love Vista, but the way vista does a live update on the image db for picture directories after each reboot is driving me crazy. I have several directories that have over 2000 image files in them and I really don't want to change my directory structure around. But Vista taking 5 minutes to update the image file db that XP only modified when a image was added to the dir is driving me crazy. It hurts my performance so much I can't do anything wihle its loaded up those images of the image files. And I have a new computer, its only 3 months old.
How can I force vista to do like XP and create that database and use it, but not rebuild it every time I reboot when I access that directory? This one little annoyance is making me seriously think about going back to XP, at least for my photo work I do.
