Windows DVD maker - Avi files
So the problem is really simple. I cant open any .avi file into my Windows DVD maker. Some of you might think is just I dont have any codec. But its not like that. I DO have the codecs. I can even open .avi files into Windows Media Player

So how can I explain I cant open .avi files in the dvd maker, but I CAN in Windows Media Player...and what I can do to make DVD maker recognize .avi files

Thanks

i've tried countless times to make dvd's with it and lost will not load up. i can only imagine that because it is a authoring tool and the outcome is clearly a dvd of some sorts its microsofts way of disabling illegally downloaded files from being shared on a tangible platform
