uninstall preinstalled games problem

I hope that this is the correct location to post this question. If not I apologize in advanced.
I just got my pc (gateway m1629) on Saturday and it came with Vista Home Premium with SP1 installed on it. I went to the control panel and add/remove programs (or whatever it is called now) and selected to uninstall the games. The uninstall was completed without incident. I never did check to see if it was still in the start/all programs area at that time.
However, I noticed this morning that the games are still listed in the all programs section. I clicked on one of the games just out of curiosity and they are still working. There was / is no option to uninstall from the start > all programs section.
How do I uninstall the games from my pc so that they are not anywhere on my pc? (it isn't like I don't have the room for them since the hard drive is quite large --- I just don't want them on there).
Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated.
