I cant update my Vista home premium to sp1

Ok, so I just got vista home premium and I got all the other updates to work then I try to get sp1 and I get error code WindowsUpdate_80070570 WindowsUpdate_dt000 help please!

i too have encountered this problem...all other updates successfully installed; however the "important" has yet to be installed. appreciate any assistance.

I have the same problem downloading Vista SP1. Operating System that I am using is Vista Ultimate w/ Windows Ultimate Extra. Does anyone have a solution, I am getting errors:

Event viewer says:

It can detect Update, but unable to download. Link below from Microsoft does not detect any solutions.

Try downloading the standalone versions (links given below - select 32-bit or 64-bit as appropriate). Save the file to a removeable media (CD for the 32-bit version or DVD for the 64-bit and/or 32-bit version(s)) and then install SP1 from this disc.

Try downloading the standalone versions of SP1 (links given below - select 32-bit or 64-bit as appropriate). I suggest that you save the file onto removeable media - a CD for the 32-bit version or a DVD for the 32-bit and/or 64-bit version(s). You should then be able to install SP1 from this.
