Backups shown as successful but cannot find
Running Vista HP on Toshiba P105-S6177 with 500gb Simpletech external drive(F). F indicates it has about 120gb of data but cannot find on F anywhere near this. So looks like something is being transferred.
C drive is whining that it is full (110gb) but cannot find the files anywhere close to that are filling it. Weekly back-ups to F say they are successful but on startup get a message in that backup "failed". Successful back-up was months ago and not complete in my opinion . Also have some large files with NBZ extension in my documents but I cannot open them.
This has my expert friends stumped and me worried. Appreciate any help.
