System Aministrator Needs Help

While building a Microsoft Works spreadsheet I got an error message, MICROSOFT 8 HAS STOPPED WORKING. I downloaded the recommended solution for works 8.5 and saved it. When I tried to run it I got the message THE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR HAS SET POLICIES TO PREVENT THIS INSTALLATION.

This is my personal computer and I am the administrator, but do not know how to chage any policies or settings. Please educate me on how to allow this downloaded fix to install.
