64 bit upgrade
Hi, I'm new to these forums and I have a couple of questions about upgrading to a 64 bit OS system, Currently I am running a AMD athlon 64 x2 Dual core Processor. About 2 Gigs of RAM(Looking to upgrade to 8 hence getting 64 bit OS) As far as I know and have heard is that it can run a 64 bit OS system. Anyways I have a few questions and I am in need of dire help. First. When I run the 64 bit CD I plug in my key and the next button is "Disabled" I cant install vista 64 on any of my Hard drives. Second. Do I have to reformat my hard drive before jumping to 64? And lastly if anyone can post on how to actually install this in a detailed way that would help me a ton. Thanks in advanced, Spudunker
