Can't open pictures folder

I just copied some pictures to my Pictures folder and the folder is now 30G.
For some reason I can not open it, it says "not responding". Please help!!

I have the same problem, but my folder is under 4gb. It started off by not letting me open with the start menu shortcut, but I could open it through computer, C etc. Now I can't open it at all, regardless of how I do it. There's no error message, it just doesn't respond. Any ideas?

Hi- I copied my pictures folder to an external usb drive and they open fine. So I copied them back to my laptop and same problem. I have not renamed the folder to something other than "Pictures" and I can now open them. That is the best I can do for you since I've had no other responses. Good luck!!!
