No Windows Default Sound/Mixer programs

Hi again:

I get no sounds from the windows default sounds test. Also when I go to the Volume Mixer in the Device: The Speaker sliter is blue/green, the Applications, Window Sounds, the slider is clear (they are both all the way up). AND there are no other applications listed. Seems like this is the problem of why I can't get sounds on YouTube, but I don't know how to fix it.

My system is less than 2 months old and a few weeks ago I did get YouTube sounds.

Is there a way to reset back to defaults that the system came with?
