Graphic Programs Crash

Hi - it seems we're all frustrated with Vista. I know I am. Whenever I try to run any of my video editing software the software loads then closes. Many times I get the following error: "Access vilation at address 744C720A in module "PROPSYS.dll". Read of address 7CBD6C9E."

I've turned of thumbnails in folders and upgraded my nVidia drivers to the latest releases.

I have service pack 1 installed and am rapidly loosing my hair and my patience.

Can anyone at all give me some direction?

Try turning OFF user account account control (UAC) and see if the problem goes away.
