sorting by date modified
I would like to sort my files in windows explorer detail view in date order in the same way as my XP machine does. The date format is dd/mm/yyy but vista only sorts the by the day number and inores the remainder of the date so I get a listing soething like this
02/05/2008
03/03/2008
06/11/2007
08/06/2008
I can get Vista to sort the files in date order by changing the date format to yyyy-mm-dd.
Clicking on the date modified down arrow and selecting"Group"helps if the files are recent and few in number but the result is as above for more numerous older files.
Does anyone knowhow to make sort work like XP
