G'Day, Xeorns, sounds like you have a problem, discounting physical drive failure etc, you may have to reload your oS from boot, I assume you have a OS disc, you first need to check boot priority in bios, so do this.
1 restart and press del., this should enter the bios screen, use up/down/R/L arrows to navigate to BOOT ( at top of screen) go down to "Boot device priority", this should be highlighted, >enter> Sub menu opens, higlight your CD/DVD drive and press enter, this should set CD drive to first priority, insert disc in drive and press F10>enter, PC should boot from CD and load fresh OS.
Unfortunatley you will loose all files,
If you can't boot into bios you have a harware problem, and will need to see a tech.
Hope this is of help
