Hard disk partition

Hi all,

i got my dell laptop which is pre installed with Vista Home premium.
when i tried to make partition through computer Management window,
it displays the message saying "Your system already have maximum number of partition. you cannot create a new partition".

By default there were 4 partitions in the computer Management window.
1.EISA configuration
2.Primary partition
3.OS system boot and OS installed partition.
4.Recovery Partition.

i dont know what the first two partitions are for.. The first two partitions are not displayed in My computer.

Since the OS(system boot) drive has 90% of the hard disk space i want to divide it into two.

How many partitions can be made in Vista home premium (Preinstalled in Laptop)?

G'Day, Have no idea what those two partitions are, you would have to talk to thenmanufacturer, however I use "Easeus partition manager" extensivley and find it very simple and effective.
