Free Hard Drive Space
Okay so I'm not a techie, but my hard drive is currently 70% free, however last week it was 90% free. I have not made any significant downloads and I regularly clean the hard drive and defrag. Can someone tell me where the data is coming from to use the space and is there a back door to cleaning it up? Thanks

if you are running windows vista then it is a good chance that it is your restore points thats taking up your space...vista uses about 15% of oyur drive for restore points....try going to accessories/system tools and select disc clean up...when you have the clean up window open and it has calculated how much space you can gain back click on the more options tab and from there you have the option to clear shadow copies and all but the most recent restore point. just click on the clean up button (second one down)you will be amazes how much space you will regain..
