DVD PLayback Problem in Home Premium
I am experiencing a very strange and infuriating problem in playing back DVDs.
Most DVDs seem to play back ok, however some play back with what looks like reversed interlacing, with interlacing combing and jitteryness.
This is affecting all dvd playback sofwares on my computer, media player, media centre, media player classic, and vlc (although it looks slightly improved in vlc, but not much) But like i said before, only some dvds, not others.
It'll play back 'Peep Show' fine and a dvd i made myself, but the problem occurs whilst playing episodes of 'The Prisoner', even the dvd menus are fine. The dvd plays fine in a dvd player, on my dad's vista computer and on my old xp installation on the same machine i've recently upgraded to vista.
Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
My specs are below:
Dell XPS M1710
Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit
Intel Core Duo T2600 2.16 GHz
2 GB RAM
NVidia Geforce Go 7950 GTX 512mb
