Can't backup computer "Access is Denied"
Hello,
First of all, my 'Live OneCare' would not allow me to do a backup because it would not recognize my external hard drive although I could see it using 'My Computer'. So the computer recognized it but my OneCare would not. Anyway, I thought I resolved that by dumping the OneCare (subscription was up the next day) and start the backup using the Backup/Restore wizard. All is fine starting the backup unit it gets to a certain point and I receive the error
"Access Is Denied 0x80070005" and the backup is not completed. I don't know at what point this happens because the thing takes so bloody long, I'm in bed dreaming dreams of a Vista program that runs smoothly.
Can anyone help me? I'd sure like to get my computer backed up before the inevitable happens and it crashes.
