WMI Issues
Windows vista has been being a recent pain for me, why you ask? Simple, or so i thought. The WMI has become completely corrupt, even though the database checks says its 'all ok' I've been locked out of the administration permissions, as well as the System_32 Operations. Alot of my laptops functions have pretty much ceased to function until i forced them into the boot up threw command prompt. The GetWMIServices on all of programs i run are now failing completely, and alot of games i use to play now fail to even start up/run. Here's the issue at hand and i would like to know what i can do to solve it, if their is a solution, and please keep it simple as im not use to working with a vista operating system.

Here's all classes about WMI Control Properties that i was able to get.

"Failed to initialize all required WMI classes.

Win32_Processor: Win32: Access is denied.
Win32_WMISetting: Successful
Security information: Successful
Win32_OperatingSystem: Win32: Access is denied."

Now from what i understand after i installed AIM Pro [url] --> http://www.aim.com/download.adp it pretty much messed up all of my services. All of my programs wouldnt function, the laptop i have started to malfunction, and shutdown quite often, with the blue screen of death. After a few reboots i hadta reboot the laptop in safemode, and re-enter all of the files threw command prompt, but now here comes the worst part, my computer didnt recognize me as an admin. At first i thought this was an error, but soon i realized it locked me out of the WMI Services. I hadta reboot the laptop about 3 times before the blue screen of death disappeared, then re-enable pretty much all of the SERVICES threw command prompt under admin mode (I dont know why but i was able to become admin after a 3rd reboot). Then i uninstalled AIM Pro, which seemed to be the source of the problem completely. I dont know what is in the AIM Pro package, but it completely damaged my laptops WMI Repository, (my computer dosn't register it as damaged) nor am i able to find a way to completely reset all of the WMI settings. I hope someone's able to help me out here, if more information is needed about the laptop that vista home premium was installed on ill give more information releated to what went wrong, Until then i cant really do much but surf the internet, and run some programs.

Oh and the computer that is running this Windows vista home premium OS is a Toshiba Satellite P105-S6147.

Oh and on the side note, i am NOT willing to try to reinstall my Vista Home Premium Operating system, i wasnt even given a disc or anything, only a backup partition with just recovery tools, which are pretty much useless, because they wont pick up anything, but bootup errors, and those errors have already been resolved.

*NOTE*

The LOCAL services have been locked out as well, alot of them, which isnt giving alot of access to a large quantity of my services, as well as making duplicate services appear (dummy ones i suppose?) that are just their but wont start up, have the same name, pretty much everything, but dont work at all.

More Details on WMI that i got from testing out the proccesses using Wmitesterv1

Testing This proccess and this one alone, Win32_Processor.
Test results, 80070005: Access is denied

This is for EXTREAMLY Tech savy users who almost completely understand the inner workings of the vista operating system and i mean know what they are doing.

I have uploaded a WMI Report with a ton of errors, but i cannot fully understand the instructions and the .MOF Rebuilding steps. I was hoping someone could tell me in a more simplified matter on how to follow the instructions within the enclosed file, anyone can take a look but thats just a report on my WMI. Oh and here's a URL linking to a diagnostics run on my whole computer ingeneral, related to 'Reliability and Performance' --> Supernet2 Complete PC Diagnostics.html

Hopefully this information is enough to grab the attention of someone who knows what their doing and are able to help me, until then i await your reply.

Hey i've finally fixed my laptop after ever so long. Took me about 5 times to try before it worked. here's the link --> Computer Help - AOL Help**
Oh here's a idea, DONT INSTALL AIM ever its complete crap, it Fubars your computer and ends up causing so many errors. Just use a universal instant messenger client, i use Trillian, but their are other one's to. Here's the link for The trillian chat client (and it dosnt screw you over like the AOL AIM 6.5 client dose) and its better! --> Cerulean Studios: Creators of Trillian and Trillian Pro Instant Messengers
