Cant Create Restore Point

hi everyone,

i cant create a restore point in vista Home Premium.

error message: unexpected error: filename, directory name or volume label syntax incorrect (0X8007007B)

can anyone help me with a fix for this, it has been working fine i the past, but now i cant create a restore point.

toshiba laptop p200
core2duo 2gig
2g ram
vista home premium

Hi KiwiKev,

welcome aboard....

It could be that the restore point is pointing to a non vista boot disk, maybe a spare drive or partition you have.

Read the instructions here as how to set it to the correct one...
