Please Help

I have posted twice about my computer, I have a Windows Vista Home Basic Desk Top made by Dell.
My computer is some how keeps deactiving and then reactiving my Antivirus Software, I am using Microsoft Security Essentials. I opened the control panel and checked the computer Security Status and the Color was Orange for Antivirus and then I got a pop up from Windows Security Alerts and it said thisCheck Your Computers Security Status There Are Multiple Security Problems With Your Computer) I have checked with my installed programs and Microsoft Security Essentials is installed, then why is Windows telling me that my computer has no Antivirus? When I checked the System Icon Tray it was there marked in Green and now it's not there. So I had to do is Activate Windows Defender to scan my computer.
Can someone please tell me why is my computer doing this and to correct the problem? Please help

Zena, I sympathize with you, I also asked for help no response. This is'nt a forum for anyone with problems. I hope by now you've found help elsewhere.
