Nothing works in Windows Vista
Hi,
I got a problem which i think is unique. my system got turned off during the installation of updates. then it would not restart, so i started with safe mode and tried several times to restore the computer to a previous and finally succeding in booting it, after this the following problems are there
1) the shutdown is stuck with the option "install updates and shutdown" and everytime i shutdown it installs updates.
2)none of the changes i make to desktop are happening. Eg. i delete the recycle bin icon, it asks for confirmation, i say yes but the icon is still there.
3) i cannot view the hidden folders. i check the option in the folder options, but when i open it the next time it is still in the "Do not show" option.
4) the views that i set for a folder are not maintaining and it always reverts back to details view...
Can anybody help me ??
