Cannot remove AVG anti virus free in WSC

Hello,
Im running Vista Home Basic on my laptop.
Im having a heck of a time trying to remove avg av free. It shows thats is running and up to date in Windows Security Center. Ive tried highlighting it in WSC to disable it but I cannot.
The strange thing is that AVG is not in the listing of Programs and Features and no Grisoft or AVG Folders in the Program Files Directory.
Ive run Revo Uninstaller trial to see if I could find any traces of AVG with no success - (perhaps I'm not using it correctly).

Ive also downloaded and run AVG tools 2011 &2012 to see if these would remove it - no success.

Ive also followed looked into the WSC and run in the command prompt winmgmt /verify repository & /salvagerepository.

both were WMI repository is consistent.

Im at a loss here.
I would appreciate some help.

Check for the folder in search program by simply click "All files and folders" then type "AVG" and click search. If the folder exists on your computer, use the following commands:
regsvr32.exe /u "C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG8\avgoff2k.dll"
regsvr32.exe /u "C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG9\avgoff2k.dll"
If not, download AVG remover on other computer, transfer by email and use it for completely removing AVG.

Thanks for advice dude! I had been challenging my files for ages trying to make it all work out for me, but failed. I actually was thinking there's sth wrong with my laptop. Your last advice ("If not, download AVG remover on other computer, transfer by email and use it for completely removing AVG") helped me though, thanks, you saved my computer from going into the dust bin i appreciate that
