Home Basic items disabled?
I have an emachines E625 laptop which came with home basic.
I seem to have a lot of items in the control panel which do nothing at all.
They don't even open. Is this normal? I tried re-installing from CD but no different. The items which do nothing when clicked are:
Administrative tools
Autoplay
Backup and restore
Cardspace
Device Manager
Network and sharing
Performance information & tools
Personalisation
Programs and features
System
User accounts
Windows update
Is this because there is an overall control [ admin or something ] or because it's a cheap version or is there a problem - if so what can I do about it?  |
