problem with safe mode.

I was having some problem on my laptop so i decided to do a System Restore.
but then , im having problem to open the system restore and window task manager. It just wont show up.
I even tried to do it from Safe Mode. But going through safe mode, it came out with a black screen with 'Safe Mode' on its edges and cursor.
And then i tried this way, as i read in thread somewhere.
run>msconfig>boot>safe boot>minimal
so everytime i boot, it started with safe mode.
however, i managed to make a System restore.
But now im stuck at the black screen Safe Mode,
and everytime i boot, it still go for the black screen Safe Mode.

Have you not changed the boot mode back to normal start up in the msconfig?
