2 different format partitions into one
Now it goes like this...

I clean installed Vista from XP, and when Vista finished installing for some reason it split in two partitions, one NTFS format (Vista) the other FAT32 (XP)

How do i fix this, so i can merge these two partitions into one, the items that are in FAT32 (Xp) format i dont want so im happy to lose them

Please Help,
Marty

Re: 2 different format partitions into one
It happens due to format option that you choose. i mean when you see the format option , there are two options one is quick format and other is simple format so you should use only format option not quick because if you choose quick format the old files of operating system remain in the system .And you should choose NTFS format option.
