"No audio output device is installed"

In the past day, I have been getting that message.

I have tried to use system restore, but for some reason, there are no previous restore points.

I have tried to go through device manager, but there there is no icon for sound for me to scan for any hardware changes

I am sure that my speakers are functional (the computer makes this loud beeping sound when i click on something once in a while). I also tried plugging in some headphones.

My computer model is an HP pav dv6000

Now I am getting this code 10 error.
I tried reinstalling some audio driver (Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver) that I found on the HP website. Still does not work and gives me the code 10 error.

ahh this is something i can help with, this it the recommended driver for your system if it is running 32 or 64 bit

it struck me as weird that you have the realtek on your system as your manufacturer recommends you have this one

uninstall your other device driver before attempting to install this
