External USB Drives show as RAW on Vista, but are OK on Windows 7 machine
Suddenly, none of my external USB HDs will appear in the desktop, and they show as RAW in Computer Management. I did a system restore to a previous state to no avail. All of these drives function normally on my buddy's W7 machine - no problem. I don't want to reinstall the OS. I have a Toshiba satellite L305-S5955 with a restore partition, so no repair disk. A diagnostic indicates something in the drivers is corrupted. Any suggestions?
Totochto.
