OLEACC.dll issues
I'm running an Acer Aspire 5610 with Windows Home Basic. I've been having problems with my computer not starting correctly or freezing often. Usually I can start the computer with the last known good configuration and have no problems (a simple fix for me, since I know relatively little about computer hardware).
Today, I received errors that many of my programs executable files couldn't run because the OLEACC.dll file was missing. Some browsing online led me to run "sfc /scannnow" and "chkdsk" in safe mode.
sfc /scannow gets to 55% completion then stops, with the message "Windows Resource Protection could not complete the requested operation."
chkdsk gives me the error message:
"The type of the file system is NTFS.
The volume is in use by another process. Chkdsk.
might report errors when no corruption is present.
Volume label is Briana esta sexay [my boyfriend did that...embarassing].
WARNING! F parameter not specified.
Running CHKDSK in read-only mode.
CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 3)...

File record segment 168234 is corrupt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't know where my system disk is, because I've had these laptop for several years and moved at least 4 times (that's college for you) during that time period.
Thank you in advance!
