Frequent disconnects which require restart
Starting about a month ago, my laptop will show "unidentified network: Local Only" at random points throughout the day. I've searched high and low for a way to fix this, and nothing seems to work. I've tried disabling QoS, Ipv6, I've set it so that the computer does not cut power to the network card if it's idle, resetting the dhcp through console, renewing my IP, and the "automatic repair" as well. The ONLY way I can seem to work around this is to restart the computer, and the internet works fine... For a while. I am using a Dell Vostro with Vista 32-bit edition and a brand new wireless router, which was only installed two weeks ago (so I know it's not the router). This problem happens with wi-fi AND ethernet connections. I'm at a total loss.. I've tried restoring to previous states, and I could try a complete restore (which I did around a month ago) but I don't know what I could do differently after restore to make this not happen, as I have not accumulated any virus to my knowledge. ANY help on this would be much appreciated! Thanks
