install.log files missing - attempting to uninstall yahoo msgr
Hiya everyone! I'm new here, so thanks for checking out my post.. and if you can help, i'd be soooo thankful! So here goes...

i've been trying to uninstall yahoo messenger and i keep getting a box saying 'cannot find install.log file'. i believe my problem began when i got a windows update that put on the yahoo toolbar, which i absolutely didn't want. being only half puter literate, i tried uninstalling just the tool bar, which is when i started getting a windows error. (can't remember what that says but i get it everytime i boot up my puter and then again when i open explorer)
anyway, then i figured out how to delete the whole update... which i did. it didn't do anything to help my problem. i still have yahoo messenger and the 'cannot find install.log file', and i still have the windows error messages when i boot up and open explorer.

Can anyone help, please? Thanks!!
