Please Help, I was nosey about the Narrator (via Ease of Access) wot a mistake! I have tried several ways of disabling and have been unfortunate in doing so, I have been through the Control Panel / Unchecking Boxes / Saving / Rebooting etc etc.... Please can someone tell me the less logical way to get rid. Many Thanks, Nicky
Try this: go to Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center -> Explore all Settings -> Use the computer without a display. Uncheck the checkbox by Turn on Narrator and click Save.
It worked on my Vista machine - I thought I would be stuck with it forever!
Reply to jhonsadins: Thank you for your suggestion, however there are no changes to be made or saved as my control panel/ computer says theyre switched off already I truly have tried everything that I could find on the internet to get rid of it, I'm still happy to receive anymore hints and tips.
