Vista Boot Hangs At Loading Bars
Info:
When I got to boot up my Dell Inspiron531s with Windows Vista SP1 it gets stuck at the loading bar, the just continually move across the screen forever and ever, no matter how long you wait! I can boot in safe mode though. Startup repair only does system restore, which didn't help. Last known good configuration doesn't help. I can boot if I try booting up a couple of times, usually 2 or 3 times. SOMETIMES I can boot up the first time. I can resume windows from sleep correctly. I'm not infected(unless I have a rootkit, my Anti-Virus doesn't scan for those). Then I enabled boot logging and OS boot info. Now, It stops after loading the list of drivers. It hangs where it shows the OS information. Please my warranty expired, and I can't afford a new computer or a tech. It cost like $60 just to EMAIL Dell! I'm out of options other than going on tech forums like these. Please help!
Other useful info:
-No, I didn't fool around with BIOS, I can't figure out how to use it, or even where it is.
-I already tried unpluggig all unneccicary USBs already, problem still stands
Other POSSIBLY useful info:
Please, I need this for school, and my Mom needs it for work. And she get's pissed when the computer isn't working 100% perfect. I'm the system administrator. But everyone has access to the admin account(orders of my Mom).
